When you wanted to talk to someone, you needed to speak
in terms they could understand; they'd never dare talk in
a language most people would understand. A lexicon of
buzz-words and management talk meant that it was often
difficult to get a straight answer; and even when you
could, you'd spend the next three meetings trying to
separate the wheat from the chaff.
These people do not breathe, they do not grow. They
cannot, or will not communicate with those who do not
dress the same, those who do not talk and act the same,
and in particular, with those who simply want a straight
answer.
